Glen Preece

This image is like a story of how i have worked, I started of by drawing a woman's face using pencils I then went on to convert this image using a similar technique as Glen Preece which is shown in the second image. I was very inspired by how he works but i feel it is easier to use acrylics and a black pen rather than using pencils or oil dry brush. The last image shown is so you get the feel of how he works and how my painting relates to his work.

Here is my first attempt at painting in a similar style to Glen Preece, when doing this I used a mixture of acrylic, pen, intense blocks and also water colours. I really like working in this way as I feel that the reds against the dull black works well and stands out.
